Is it dangerous to mix serums?

There is no hard rule that serums must be followed with a moisturizing serum, multiple serums can be used with or without a moisturizer/serum/cream. Just be sure that the active ingredients of the products that you're layering do not have any sort of contraindication with each other. i.e. they cancel each other out if used at the same time.

Niacin can be known to counter the effects of Vitamin C. Also with EGF serum has a form of retinol in it which accelerates skin healing. Be mindful to use the EGF for repair of wrinkles or scares. One might suggest using Vitamin C in the evening as it helps with Pigmentation. This process allows you to have more open pores and makes your skin more sensitive to the Sun (something you don’t really want). So it may be better to use Niacin in the morning and EGF/Vit C in the evening and the cream layer on top. The key to a successful skincare routine is cleaning. So be sure to use a gentle cleaner and try to exfoliate 3 days times a week!

Naked Vitamin C Serum. Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate for Anti-Aging and Skin Damage Repair. (1 Fl Oz)

Question: Ingredients list for this product, please

Answer: Water, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Propanediol, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Tocopherol, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol (and) Chlorphenesin (and) Caprylyl Glycol.

Question: What percentage of MAP and vitamin C is in the serum?

Answer: We use 3% MAP in the serum. It is the same concentration as one finds in other serums. The concentration balances effectiveness and stability. MAP becomes really difficult at higher concentrations.

Question: What is the product shelf life and the expiration date of the serum?

Answer: The expiration date of the product is printed on the bottle

Question: What is the pH of serum?

Answer: The Vitamin C Serum has a pH of a little over 6.5. The Vitamin C in it is used for antioxidant rather than exfoliating purposes. The topic of pH and Vitamin C is quite complex. Please check out our FAQ on our website to trace this further to discussions with our dermatologist!

Question: Why was the first bottle of serum completely clear, while the second bottle was amber in color?

Answer: Hello, first we want to assure you that the darker tint does not affect the potency or stability of the product and is not a sign of oxidization. Properly formulated MAP in water solutions (unless chemicals are added to conceal it) always have a yellow tint, and this tint becomes more apparent/dark during the warmer months due to the way the MAP salts react to heat. But MAP does not convert to l-ascorbic acid until it is absorbed into the skin, so it will not oxidize easily and lose potency like an l-ascorbic acid product can. A spoiled MAP product would have a strong and unpleasant smell, and possibly a dark-brown/muddy color, but a yellow or orange tint alone is completely normal in warm weather and is not a sign of decreased potency of the serum.

Question: Do you wash your face after applying these products?

Answer: No! wash your face first and then apply the MAP serum. You can also apply a moisturizer after application. For more info be sure to check out or skincare blogs and tutorials!

Question: Can I use it in during the day with sunblock?

Answer: Absolutely! Vitamin C is actually known for helping to protect skin from the sun. While we still recommend using a daily sunscreen, vitamin C does not make skin photosensitive like a retinol (vitamin A) or some other skincare treatments. We hear the best results are achieved from customers who apply 3-5 drops of the Vitamin C Serum morning and night followed by a moisturizer.

Question: How long does it take for vitamin C serum to work?

Answer: You may see results in as soon as 2 weeks to 4 months. These results could be in the form of firmer, more hydrated skin, or in a decrease in wrinkles (or both).

Naked Hyaluronic Acid. Vegan Sodium Hyaluronate Serum for Anti-Aging and Skin Damage Repair. (1 Fl Oz)

Question: Ingredients list for this product please

Answer: Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid.

Question: What percentage minus water and preservatives is the Hyaluronic Acid ?

Answer: The Hyaluronic Acid in our serum is about 30 percent.

Question: Is this Hyaluronic Acid low or high molecular weight?

Answer: The benefits of sodium hyaluronate (topical form of hyaluronic acid) are dependent on its specific molecular weight/size. When hyaluronic acid degrades, the molecules break up and you get “low molecular weight” HA which does not provide the same benefits and can cause irritation. Essentially, the low/high molecular weight concept is a marketing gimmick and not based on a scientific approach to skin care.

Question: What is the concentration (percent by weight)?

Answer: The concentration is 30ml.

Question: Can you use this product straight on the skin without mixing it?

Answer: Yes, but if you live in a very dry climate you may want to dampen your face slightly before applying. A little goes a long way with this product.

Question: What is the source of your hyaluronic acid? Is it fermented corn or other? Is it vegan? GMO free? pesticide free?

Answer: We only use the sodium hyaluronate produced from the cruelty-free bacterial fermentation method, using a non-GMO medium grown for this purpose, so there are no pesticides or other industrial contaminants and no animal byproducts in this process.

Question: What is the 'safe' preservative used in this product? I want a preservative free product?

Answer: The INCI is "Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid". In our opinion it is the safest *effective* preservative available, despite the long and scary name. It can be used in much lower concentrations than Paraben/alcohol-based preservatives and keeps the product usable for longer. Unfortunately, dissolved Hyaluronic Acid becomes ineffective within days if there is no preservative added. A preservative-free product would be both ineffective and possibly irritating/inflaming by the time it reached you, due to how quickly HA breaks down. Almost all skin products that contain water (oil-based products aren't as perishable) without preservatives or with ineffective ones will quickly develop mold and other impurities and the main ingredients will become ineffective or even change effect entirely, which is much more dangerous to your health than any preservative approved for use in the USA.

Question: Can I use hyaluronic acid every day?

Answer: Yup! And you can even use it twice a day as long as you’re applying it to clean, damp skin, then locking it in with a moisturizer and face oil.

Naked Squalane Oil. 100% Pure Olive-Derived. Topical Serum for Skin Damage Repair. (1 Fl Oz)

Question: Ingredients list for this product please

 Answer: Squalane (Olive Extract) Oil

Question: Is this product in a glass or plastic bottle?

Answer: The product is packaged in a glass bottle

Question: How is squalane made? Is squalane derived from plants?

Answer: Originally, squalane oil was derived from shark liver. Currently, though, there are a few plant-based sources, including olives and sugarcane. Deriving the oil from plant sources makes it generally sustainable, vegan, and cruelty free.

Question: Can it be used on hair?

Answer: Yea! Moisturizing your hair can help increase shine and prevent breakage. Hair has its own natural oils. Yet weather, age, diet, and heat damage can dry out locks. Squalane can replenish your strands and protect your hair from further damage.

Place a few drops of squalane oil into the palm of your hand and massage into your hair to boost moisture before rinsing in the shower.

Question: Can you nano or micro needle with this product?

Answer: While EGF products like this are excellent for skin repair after needling or dermabrasion, we do not recommend home needling due to concerns about infections. If you are seeing a professional, they should be able to use the product. Try a small amount first in a test area to ensure no allergic reactions or irritation occurs"

Question: Will this product also reduces the appearance of scars on face?

Answer: Yes, this product will help reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and dark spots anywhere!

Question: How long will it take to see results?

Answer: Used as directed, the beneficial effects of EGF can be perceivable within days. Improvements in lines and wrinkles are often noticed within 1-2 weeks, however, depending on your skin condition, it may take a couple of months to see more dramatic results. Remember that skin cell turnover takes on average 40-50 days and longer as we age. The key is sticking with the regimen! We recommend taking a before and after picture to better visualize your results.

Naked Vitamin B3 Serum. Niacinamide and Glucosamine Topical Treatment for Skin Damage Repair (1 Fl Oz)

Question: Ingredients list for this product please

Answer: Water, Niacinamide, N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine, Propanediol, Xanthan Gum, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol (and) Sorbic Acid (and) Caprylyl Glycol.

Question: Is the percentage for the two main active ingredients listed anywhere?

Answer: 2% for each of them. When you add a higher concentration, it doesn't prove to have significant potency effects thereafter and is more likely to irritate sensitive skin.

Question: Is this serum less than 500 daltons?

Answer: Vitamin B3, Niacinamide, has a molecular weight of 122 daltons.

In general, we use a combination of low and high weight actives for different functions. Topical activity of these ingredients has been independently researched, regardless of their weight.

Question: Will the glucosamine serum lighten brown spots and sun damage?

Answer: Over a longer period of time, it may lighten brown spots.
